Support for UniSA Staff

Do you need a student for representation or consultation but don't know where to start? 

We can help with that. 

USASA Student Voice is committed to supporting best-practice student representation at UniSA. This page contains a range of resources and tools that can assist staff in embedding student-centred approaches to carrying out University governance functions that involve students.

We provide:

  • Resources and checklists to assist you in developing best-practice processes

  • A platform to advertise opportunities for students to get involved in university decision-making, including focus groups, committees, and advisory groups

  • Direct recruitment of student representatives, including elections by peers and by recommendation or appointment

  • Training and ongoing support for student representatives as per your requirements

  • Presentations for staff detailing a best-practice guide for when liasing with students

Advertise an Opportunity

If you are a member of staff seeking to advertise an opportunity for students to get involved in University decision-making, please contact us to register your opportunity. This can include, but not limited to:

  • Student representatives for committees required by policy
  • Working groups
  • Steering groups
  • Focus groups

A member of the USASA Student Voice team will respond to your inquiry to discuss whether any additional information is required. Your opportunity will be promoted to students here and directed to those signed up for notifications.
